Geely offered customized training for Almussafes plant operations

The Generalitat Valenciana and the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) have proposed customized training programs to Geely to prepare professionals for the Almussafes plant. Geely will operate the Valencian facility alongside Ford through a joint venture to manufacture multi-energy vehicles.

During a visit to Geely’s headquarters in Hangzhou, China, Valencian officials discussed a framework agreement with Geely executives. This agreement aims to facilitate tailored training, internships, and joint research projects. The regional government also suggested replicating its “PowerCo model,” which includes vocational training and a Battery Campus in Sagunto, to support the automotive giant.
