Geely Opens Reservations for E2 Compact Electric Hatchback

Geely has launched a reservation phase for its new E2 compact electric hatchback. The five‑door model measures 4.13 m in length, 1.81 m in width and 1.58 m in height, seats five occupants and offers a 375‑liter trunk that can be expanded to 1,320 L when the rear seats are folded.

Customers can secure a reservation with a €500 payment, which will be deducted from the final purchase price. The reservation window remains open until the vehicle reaches commercial sales at the start of September, with the first deliveries expected by the end of that month.

The E2 is equipped with a rear‑mounted electric motor delivering roughly 115 hp (85 kW) and an LFP battery estimated at under 50 kWh, giving it a WLTP‑certified range of 345 km. It shares Geely’s GEA platform with the brand’s recent SUVs and features a dual‑screen interior, including a 14.6‑inch central display running Flyme Auto 2.0 with Apple CarPlay support. The model will compete with vehicles such as the Aion UT, Renault Megane E‑Tech, Cupra Raval, VW ID. Polo and others, and builds on Geely’s strong sales in China, where the E2 was the best‑selling passenger car in 2025 with about 466,000 units.
