Geely expands European EV lineup and cuts Spanish prices

Chinese car group Geely, owner of Volvo, Lotus and Smart, has launched its new Zeekr 7 GT family‑sport electric sedan across 16 European markets, including Spain, Portugal, Greece, Italy and France. The model is priced at €45,990 and features a high‑voltage electric architecture that enables a ten‑minute charge to restore most of the battery, as well as Nvidia‑powered AI sensors for advanced driver assistance.

In Spain, Geely is also offering aggressive discounts on its existing models. The fully electric Geely E5 and the Starray EM‑i SUV are advertised with up to €2,000 off the financed price, bringing the full range of the brand’s electric cars below €30,000 after subsidies, promotional campaigns and the “Plan Auto+” loan from Bank Cetelem. The price reductions apply to both cash and financing offers and are valid through the end of the month, aiming to strengthen Geely’s foothold against rivals such as BYD, Changan and GAC in the compact SUV segment.
