Zeekr expands global lineup and 7X production milestone

Overview

Zeekr continues to expand its global footprint through new model introductions and infrastructure development. The Zeekr 7X electric SUV has become a central driver of growth, recently reaching a production milestone of 200,000 units at the Ningbo Meishan Intelligent Factory. The model has achieved rapid global expansion, reaching over 50 countries and regions within 15 months of its launch, and has secured top sales positions in the electric SUV segment in markets such as Hong Kong, Australia, Malaysia, Mexico, and Egypt.

In South Korea, the 7X has recorded over 1,500 pre-orders, prompting the launch of a private preview test drive program at showrooms nationwide ahead of October deliveries. Technical updates for a 2027 model are expected to include a new 85kWh ‘Golden Brick’ lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery pack, with a release slated for China in the fourth quarter of 2026.

Internationally, the 7X has seen approximately 3,650 registrations in Malaysia. However, the brand faces local challenges in Malaysia regarding evolving tax regulations and the operational status of the Tanjung Malim Automotive Hi-Tech Valley facilities intended for local assembly. In Greece, Zeekr remains a significant player in the premium BEV category, ranking third in market share as of July 2026.
