Gelderland Province Schedules Major N325 Road Maintenance

The Province of Gelderland will carry out extensive maintenance on the N325 road between the Gelredome stadium and the Velperbroek junction from 29 July to 9 August 2026. The work is phased:

- 29 July – 2 August: the section between Nijmeegseplein and the Westervoortsedijk crossing will be closed to traffic in one direction. - 31 July night – 2 August: the stretch from the Westervoortsedijk crossing to the Velperbroek junction will be closed in the opposite direction. - 5 August – 9 August: the segment from Velperbroek back to Nijmeegseplein will be closed one‑way.

The opposite lane will remain open at all times. Drivers are required to use detour routes via the A12, A50, A15 and A325 motorways. The project will replace the worn‑out asphalt to improve safety and extend the road’s service life. Travelers are advised to plan routes in advance and follow posted signage.
