General Galarza rally cancelled after heavy rain

The fifth round of the Rally Entrerriano RUS in General Galarza was concluded prematurely after heavy rainfall during the early morning hours. More than 50mm of rain rendered the local roads impassable, leading authorities to cancel the second stage due to safety concerns.

Despite the cancellation, points from the first stage and the overall race were awarded in full, while the second stage and Power Stage provided no points. Guillermo Pitón and Juan Capurro emerged as the winners of the General Classification. Other category winners included Santiago Lambert and Emmanuel Fernández in the N7 class, Federico Gracia and Javier Travichet in the N7 Light class, and Manuel Cergneux and Diego Saipert in the N9 16 Valves class.

The next event for the Rally Entrerriano is scheduled for November 6, 7, and 8 in Santa Anita.
