The General Inspectorate for Migration (IGM) in Moldova has announced a temporary suspension of certain services and the receipt of applications. This suspension is scheduled to take place from October 29 to November 12, 2026.

The measure is being implemented to facilitate the launch of a new information system titled ‘Migration’. During the initial period of October 29 and 30, the institution will specifically not accept applications for the issuance of residence cards for both temporary and permanent stays.
