General Roca police raid homes following fatal shootings
Police in General Roca, Argentina, conducted three raids in the northern part of the city as part of an investigation into a series of shootings that occurred on the night of September 9. The violence resulted in the death of 19-year-old Mauricio Sebastián Molinez and left 29-year-old Maximiliano Andrés Iraira in critical condition.
During one of the searches, authorities seized a 14-gauge shotgun and 14 cartridges of various calibers. The property owner is facing legal proceedings for alleged illegal possession of weapons. In the other two locations inspected, no items of interest were found.
Maximiliano Andrés Iraira remains in intensive care at the Hospital Francisco López Lima. He is currently dependent on mechanical respiratory assistance and shows minimal neurological response. Medical staff are monitoring his condition closely, with a tracheotomy being considered if his clinical status does not improve in the coming week.
