Genesis unveils Magma GT and X Skorpio concept cars in Italy

Genesis Magma concept cars high-performance vehicles off-road concept Tutto Bene Hillclimb

Genesis has unveiled the first public road driving demonstrations of its Magma GT Concept and X Skorpio Concept at the Tutto Bene Hillclimb event in Italy. Held near Mount Mottarone and Lake Maggiore, the event featured a 9km mountain course with 51 corners designed to showcase vehicle performance and design rather than competitive racing.

The Magma GT Concept is a mid-engine luxury grand tourer representing the brand’s ‘luxury high-performance’ vision. It is expected to feature a twin-turbo V8 engine capable of producing up to 800 horsepower. In contrast, the X Skorpio Concept is an extreme off-road vehicle inspired by outdoor leisure lifestyles. Driven by Genesis Magma racing driver André Lotterer, the X Skorpio made its European debut during the event.

In addition to these two concept cars, Genesis exhibited the GMR-001 hypercar and the Box Buggy Concept to demonstrate its technical capabilities spanning from motorsports to future mobility solutions.
