Genesis debuts X Skorpio off-road concept in Italy

Genesis showcased two performance concept vehicles, the X Skorpio and the Magma GT, at the Tutto Bene Hillclimb in Stresa, Italy. The event featured a nine-kilometer demonstration on the Strada Borromea on Mount Mottarone, overlooking Lake Maggiore.

The X Skorpio, an extreme off-road concept, made its European debut during the event. Driven by endurance racer André Lotterer, the vehicle features a high-performance V8 engine producing 1,100 horsepower and 850 lb-ft of torque. Its design includes a tubular chassis, an exoskeleton made of fiberglass, carbon, and Kevlar, and 40-inch tires mounted on 18-inch beadlock rims.

In addition to these concepts, Genesis exhibited its GMR-001 Hypercar, which competes in the World Endurance Championship, and the Box Buggy Concept, a demonstrator utilizing Mobis technologies.
