Genesis unveils Magma GT3 Concept at 2026 Le Mans, signaling luxury‑performance push

At the 2026 24 Hours of Le Mans, Genesis introduced the Magma GT Concept and the Magma GT3 Concept. The road‑oriented Magma GT is a two‑seat, mid‑engine grand tourer with a hybrid powertrain – a 3.2‑litre twin‑turbo V8 producing roughly 690 hp together with a rear electric motor – and a cabin that blends analog‑style gauges with premium Alcantara and leather. The GT3 Concept is an independent study built to GT3 regulations, featuring widened tracks, a large front splitter, a rear fixed wing and diffuser, and advanced thermal‑management systems. Developed with Hyundai Motorsport, the GT3 model is intended as a technology laboratory whose solutions may later appear on production cars.

Genesis is using the Le Mans platform to accelerate its European market expansion, targeting Italy, France, Spain and the Netherlands, and to position itself against established premium marques such as Porsche, Ferrari and Lamborghini. The brand also announced the upcoming GV60 Magma, a high‑performance electric model slated for a summer debut in Italy, priced around €88 000 and capable of 0‑100 km/h in 3.4 seconds. Together, the Magma program underscores Genesis’ strategy of linking motorsport development with luxury performance road cars.
