Genesis launches Electrified GV70 electric SUV in Italy

South Korean automaker Genesis introduced the Electrified GV70, its first fully electric premium SUV, to the Italian market. The model combines a 490 hp powertrain with an 84 kWh battery, delivering up to 479 km of WLTP range. It features an 800 V architecture that enables charging from 10 % to 80 % in about 19 minutes on fast‑charging stations.

The GV70’s interior is highlighted by a 27‑inch OLED display that integrates both instrument cluster and infotainment functions, along with digital key access, fingerprint authentication, and a range of driver‑assist systems such as adaptive cruise control and blind‑spot monitoring. Three trim levels are offered: Pure starting at €69,900, Premium from €73,900, and Luxury at €78,700, each including a five‑year unlimited‑kilometre warranty and maintenance plan.
