Genesis launches 'Magma X GMR' exhibition featuring GMR-001 hypercar and GV60 Magma in Hanam, South Korea

From July 17 to August 17, Genesis operated the “Genesis Magma X GMR” special exhibition at its Genesis Studio in Hanam, South Korea. The event showcased the GMR‑001 hypercar design model—an exact‑size replica of the brand’s WEC race car—alongside a racing simulator, a WEC and GMR introduction area, and a pit‑wall audio experience.

The Genesis Magma zone displayed the GV60 Magma, the brand’s first luxury high‑performance electric model, together with 1:8 scale concept models (GV80 Coupe, X‑Gran Racer, X‑Gran Coupe), the “Book of Magma” showcase, and a Magma lounge for visitors. A test‑drive program took guests to nearby attractions such as Namsan Mountain. Additionally, Genesis announced that the GV60 Magma will join its Nürburgring track‑taxi fleet in Germany, featuring a special Le Mans‑inspired livery and the Korean word “Magma” on the roof.
