Genesis Magma GT3 Concept debuts at 2026 Le Mans endurance race

The premium Korean brand Genesis introduced the Genesis Magma GT3 Concept at the 2026 24 Hours of Le Mans. Developed from a clean‑sheet design and not derived from any road‑going model, the GT3 racer follows the technical regulations of the GT3 category and incorporates wide track sections, a pronounced front splitter, enhanced cooling systems, a fixed rear wing and a dedicated extractor to explore new aerodynamic and structural solutions.

The concept was presented by team principal Cyril Abiteboul and creative director Luc Donckerwolke as part of the Genesis Magma Racing programme, which also fielded a Hypercar that finished 13th overall while a second car retired after 17 hours due to a suspension fault. Genesis is collaborating with Hyundai Motorsport on the project, using the Le Mans platform to accelerate development of future high‑performance road vehicles.

Genesis cites the Le Mans appearance as a strategic move to strengthen its global brand image and to support its expansion into key European markets, including Italy, France, the Netherlands and Spain. The GT3 concept therefore serves both as a racing entry and as a technology laboratory for upcoming Genesis performance models.
