Genesis marks GV80 sales milestone and unveils GV90 display tech
Genesis is seeing significant milestones with its luxury SUV lineup. The GV80 model has surpassed 100,000 total units sold, achieving a new annual sales record of 25,444 units by mid-2025. The vehicle, which features 2.5-liter and 3.5-liter engine options paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission, is positioned as a competitive alternative to European luxury brands.
In terms of technological advancement, the upcoming Genesis GV90 features a specialized OLED display designed for entertainment. When the vehicle is parked, a central OLED screen rises by 90 millimeters, increasing the viewing surface by approximately 70%. This 24.6-inch panel, which offers a resolution of 3,840x1,440 pixels, allows access to streaming services and live television via Media Home. When paired with an optional 25-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system, the interior is designed to function as a mobile cinema.
