Genesis unveils 2026 GV60 Sport EV with larger battery and power boost

Genesis announced a 2026 update to its GV60 sport electric crossover. The model gains an 84 kWh battery, up from the previous 77.4 kWh pack, and now produces 429 hp (483 hp in Boost mode). The update also includes retuned suspension settings, new dampers and a camera‑based road‑preview system that reacts to bumps and potholes before they are reached. Inside, a 27‑inch OLED display and the rotating Crystal Sphere shifter enhance the upscale cabin, while fast‑charging capability allows the battery to charge from 10 % to 80 % in roughly 18 minutes. Genesis lists the GV60 Sport at about US$84,500. Reviewers praised the handling, interior quality and charging speed, but noted the price is competitive and raised concerns about lingering ICCU issues on the E‑GMP platform.
