Genesis unveils G90 Wingback Concept grand tourer wagon

Genesis has unveiled the G90 Wingback Concept, a prototype that reimagines the brand's flagship G90 sedan as a grand tourer wagon. The reveal took place at Le Castellet during celebrations marking the brand's tenth anniversary.

Developed under the high-performance Magma program, the concept utilizes the standard G90 platform without structural modifications, maintaining a wheelbase of 3.2 meters and an overall length of 5.1 meters. The design incorporates performance-oriented elements such as a sculpted bumper with lateral canards, widened wheel arches, and 22-inch wheels. The rear features a hatchback design with a steeply inclined rear window, dual spoilers, and a motorsport-inspired diffuser.

Led by President and Chief Creative Officer Luc Donckerwolke, the project signals Genesis's intent to expand the Magma lineup into various body styles, including coupes and convertibles. The concept is finished in a deep green color, contrasting with the traditional Magma Orange, and features a specialized interior with Chamude finishes and Magma branding.
