Genoa reaches agreement to sign Robinho Jr. from Santos

Genoa has reached a verbal agreement with Santos to sign 18-year-old attacker Robinho Jr. on a one-season loan. The deal includes an option to purchase the player for 8 million euros.

Under the terms of the agreement, Genoa will assume full responsibility for the player's wages, a condition that was previously rejected by Santos during earlier negotiations. Santos will retain a 10% stake in the player's economic rights should a permanent transfer occur.

Robinho Jr., the son of former professional footballer Robinho, is already in Italy to undergo medical examinations and finalize the necessary paperwork. The versatile attacker, known for his speed and dribbling, has made several appearances for the Santos first team and is expected to provide depth for Genoa's attacking lineup.
