Genoa reaches agreement to sign Robinho Jr. from Santos
Genoa has reached a verbal agreement with Santos to sign 18-year-old attacker Robinho Jr. on a one-season loan. The deal includes an option to purchase the player for 8 million euros.
Under the terms of the agreement, Genoa will assume full responsibility for the player's wages, a condition that was previously rejected by Santos during earlier negotiations. Santos will retain a 10% stake in the player's economic rights should a permanent transfer occur.
Robinho Jr., the son of former professional footballer Robinho, is already in Italy to undergo medical examinations and finalize the necessary paperwork.
