Following his arrival, Robinho Jr. made his debut for Genoa’s Primavera (U-20) squad, scoring goals against Atalanta and Juventus. He subsequently made his Serie A debut for Genoa, appearing as a substitute in the 83rd minute during a match against Roma at the Stadio Olimpico. Despite a 2-0 defeat, Genoa manager Daniele De Rossi stated the youngster made an “excellent impression” and demonstrated intelligent play, though he noted the player still needs to develop his physical strength.
