Genoa signs Robinho Jr on loan from Santos

Genoa has officially signed 18-year-old Brazilian forward Robinho Jr on loan from Santos. The agreement runs until the end of the current European season and includes an option for Genoa to purchase the player for 8 million euros.

The contract also features a 2 million euro bonus if the player is called up to either the Brazilian U-20 or senior national teams. Santos will retain 10% of the player's economic rights in the event of a future sale. Under the terms of the deal, Genoa will cover the player's full salary during the loan period.

Robinho Jr, a product of the Santos youth academy, saw limited playing time during the 2026 season. The move to Italy is intended to provide the young attacker with more consistent competitive minutes and the opportunity to develop within the European football structure.
