Genova weather: Heatwave alerts and incoming thunderstorms

Genova and the surrounding Liguria region are facing shifting weather patterns. On Monday, August 17, irregular clouds and thunderstorms are expected, particularly in the central-Levante area and the Po Valley slopes. These weather events may include strong winds and hail. While temperatures are expected to drop slightly in Genoa, humidity levels remain near saturation. By Tuesday, August 18, skies are expected to clear with some isolated afternoon thunderstorms over the hills, though heat discomfort is still anticipated.
