Genta Matsuda begins filming ‘Hadakanbou-tachi’ in Tokyo

Genta Matsuda, a member of the group Travis Japan, has officially begun filming for the upcoming TV Asahi drama series ‘Hadakanbou-tachi’. The production commenced in the Omotesando district of Tokyo.

The series is a live-action adaptation of a novel by award-winning author Kaori Ekuni. It follows the story of Ryo Sabazaki, played by Matsuda, a meticulous bespoke shoemaker who becomes the center of a complex and provocative romantic triangle involving a dentist and her friend.

Scheduled to premiere on October 3, the drama features a cast including Rosa Kato and Akane Osawa. Matsuda commented on the complexity of his character, noting the diverse range of emotions required to portray the role.
