Geomdan-dong conducts emergency CPR training for residents
Geomdan-dong in Incheon conducted cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and emergency response training for local community leaders and members of the Community Social Security Committee. The training was held over two days, on the 20th and 21st, as part of the ‘2026 Ulchi Exercise Resident Participation Training.’
Led by members of the Geomdan Volunteer Fire Brigade, the sessions combined theoretical instruction with practical exercises. Participants learned how to recognize emergency situations, how to report to emergency services (119) quickly, and proper techniques for chest compressions. The initiative aims to strengthen the local safety net by ensuring that community leaders, who interact frequently with residents, can provide rapid initial responses during wartime or natural disasters.
