Geordie Greep cancels North American tour dates following misconduct allegations

Musician Geordie Greep has cancelled five upcoming North American tour dates following allegations of sexual misconduct. The cancellations include scheduled performances in Boise, Salt Lake City, Boulder, Denver, and Omaha.

The allegations surfaced during a concert at The Pearl in Vancouver on October 8, where attendees were distributed flyers accusing the musician of sexual assault. Greep addressed the crowd during the Vancouver show, denying the accusation of rape but acknowledging an incident at a house party. He stated, “I got the wrong end of the stick with someone who was there, and I made a move, and it didn’t come off. I really quickly apologised, and it was a complete misunderstanding on my part.”

Following the incident, Greep performed the Vancouver set solo without his backing band. He indicated that proceeds from the Vancouver concert would be donated to a local organization supporting victims of sexual violence. While several US dates have been removed, some scheduled European performances in November remain on the itinerary.
