Georgia confirms Eurovision 2027 participation and Junior Eurovision 2026 details

The Georgian Public Broadcaster (GPB) has confirmed Georgia’s participation in the Eurovision Song Contest 2027, which is scheduled to take place in Burgas, Bulgaria. This will mark the country’s 19th appearance in the competition. The announcement follows a disappointing performance in the 70th edition in Vienna, where the trio Bzikebi finished last in their semi-final with only 5 points.

In related news regarding the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, GPB has released details for Georgia’s 2026 entry. Davit Lomidze will represent the country in Malta with the song “Sun on the Rooftops,” accompanied by dancers Gabriel Machabeli and Dachi Buxashvili. Lomidze, who won the series Ranina, co-wrote and produced the track with Giorgi Kukhianidze.
