Georgian national arrested for violent assault in Kutno

A 29-year-old Georgian citizen has been placed under three-month temporary arrest by the Kutno District Court following a violent assault in Kutno. The suspect is accused of causing grievous bodily harm to a 41-year-old Polish resident.

The incident occurred on September 4 near Podrzeczna Street. The victim reportedly lost consciousness and suffered a cessation of vital functions after being struck, requiring emergency resuscitation by medical teams. He is currently hospitalized in Łódź with severe injuries, including a brain hematoma.

The suspect was apprehended at his residence on the same day as the attack. He faces charges that could result in up to 20 years of imprisonment and has refused to provide an explanation during proceedings.
