German communities host local events for senior citizens

Local communities in Germany held various events for senior citizens. In Freilassing, the ‘Kunterbunt’ children's orchestra, led by Heidi Herzog, performed folk and popular songs at the Evangelical Lutheran parish house. The event included musical performances, humorous storytelling by Katharina Grünberg, and a cake buffet.

In Oberviechtach, over 300 seniors attended the 106th district senior afternoon. The traditional gathering featured folk dancing, including ‘Zwiefache’ and ‘Siebenschritt’, performed by the local fruit and gardening association to entertain attendees aged 65 and older.
