The municipality used the occasion to honor the oldest attendees, Josefine Stadler (91) and Johannes Rapp (90).

In Weiden, around 600 people gathered at the Max-Reger-Halle for a senior afternoon. Mayor Benjamin Zeitler reflected on the historical experiences of the older generation, ranging from the war years to reunification. The event also highlighted the work of the Weiden Senior Advisory Board, led by newly elected chair Irina Kern, and featured musical performances by the 77-Combo and the ‘Chorisma’ choir.
