German Digital Awards 2026: Jung von Matt Leads with 13 Wins

The Deutsche Digital Award (DDA) 2026 ceremony was held at Berlin’s Museum for Communication. The Bundesverband Digitale Wirtschaft presented 65 awards across 48 cases, including 15 gold, 30 silver and 19 bronze honors, plus a Best‑of award.

Agency Jung von Matt topped the tally with 13 awards, five of them gold, driven by the “Rental Horror Stories” campaign for car‑rental brand Sixt, which earned two gold and two silver prizes. Curious Company and German Wahnsinn each secured five awards, while brands Sixt and Penny received the most gold recognitions.

The Best‑of award went to BreachBunny, an insurance offering aimed at creators and gamers, praised for its use of pop‑culture and community‑focused storytelling. Jury president Niat Asfaw Graça highlighted that today’s digital creativity thrives on cultural relevance, real‑time response to viral trends, and genuine community engagement.
