German districts Schweinfurt and Germersheim impose June 2026 road closures

In the southern Schweinfurt district, the Kreisstraße SW 50 between Schönaich and Ebersbrunn will be fully closed from 1 June to 12 June 2026 due to urgent ceiling‑work. The Landratsamt Schweinfurt has posted a detour route that directs traffic via KT 44, state road St 2272, St 2260 and KT 48, and warns motorists to expect longer travel times.

In the neighboring Germersheim district, the main street in Knittelsheim between Ottostraße and the property at Hauptstraße 42 will be shut for a crane removal on 5 June 2026, between 15:00 and 20:00. The local traffic authority has installed an alternative routing and asks drivers to follow the signed detour and to allow for temporary delays.

Both authorities have urged affected drivers to plan accordingly and to respect the temporary traffic measures.
