German fashion brand GERMENS warns of fake online shop using germins.de domain

The Chemnitz‑based fashion label GERMENS announced on 26 July 2026 that a fraudulent website operating under the domain germins.de closely mimics its official online shop. The copy differs by only a single letter in the brand name and reproduces the GERMENS logo, product images, descriptions, prices, categories, as well as the company address and the name of founder and CEO René König.

GERMENS confirmed there is no business relationship with the site’s operator and warned customers not to place orders, create accounts, or submit personal or payment information. The brand is investigating whether any orders, payments or data have been collected and is working to identify the domain owner and technical background of the copy. The warning follows two similar fake shop incidents reported in 2025.
