German firms Bürkert and VR Bank launch apprenticeship programs for dozens of trainees

Bürkert Fluid Control Systems began training 46 young people at its Ingelfingen site and subsidiaries, with 43 starting apprenticeships or dual study programmes and three joining sister companies. The company hosted an information evening on campus to introduce the new cohort to its facilities and training structure.

At the same time, the Vereinigte VR Bank Kur‑ und Rheinpfalz started its 2026/27 apprenticeship year on 1 August, admitting 15 apprentices and three dual‑study students. New trainees shared personal stories about choosing banking careers, highlighting entry tests, interviews, and prior practical experience.

Both initiatives underline Germany’s ongoing focus on vocational education and youth employment, with companies providing structured pathways into their respective sectors.
