German firms Häfele and Holp launch major facility expansions

Häfele inaugurated a high‑tech logistics centre on the Wolfsberg site in Nagold, marking the largest investment in the family‑owned company's history. The opening was attended by company executives, the Baden‑Württemberg state secretary for economics Thomas Dörflinger, and Nagold’s mayor Jürgen Großmann. Dörflinger said, “Die neue Logistikwelt ist ein großer Schritt für Häfele – ein wichtiges Zahnrad im Wirtschaftsmotor Baden‑Württembergs,” highlighting the project's regional impact.

At the same time, Holp GmbH celebrated its 25‑year anniversary and the completion of a new, larger production building in Germany. Managing director Günter Holp thanked partners and staff, while sales director Torsten Schick warned of future challenges such as AI, skilled‑labour shortages and supply‑chain changes, stressing the need for strong collaboration with partners abroad.

Both projects aim to double production capacity, modernise digital workflows and reinforce the companies’ roles in the German manufacturing sector.
