German Labour Safety Award 2027 Application Deadline Extended to July 15

The deadline for submitting entries to the Deutsche Arbeitsschutzpreis (German Labour Safety Award) 2027 has been extended to 15 July 2026. Applications are open to companies of any size and industry, as well as individuals, that operate in Germany.

The award recognises exemplary solutions in four categories – strategic, operational, cultural and personal – with a prize of €10,000 per category. An independent jury of experts from business, politics, associations and science will select twelve nominated concepts, from which four winners will be announced at a ceremony on 21 April 2027 in Berlin, under the patronage of Federal Labour Minister Bärbel Bas.

The prize is part of the Gemeinsame Deutsche Arbeitsschutzstrategie (German Workplace Safety Strategy) and is supported by the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, the state work‑safety committees and the German Statutory Accident Insurance (DGUV).
