German local administrations welcome new vocational trainees

Local government administrations in Germany have welcomed new cohorts of trainees and students to begin their professional careers.

In Leutkirch, Mayor Hans-Jörg Henle welcomed six new apprentices at the Historical Town Hall. The trainees are specializing in various fields, including administrative services, bath facility management, tourism, and leisure. The group also includes students in Public Management and an educator intern. The city has announced that applications for future positions, including administrative roles and Public Management studies, will be accepted through December 2026.

In Schweinfurt, District Administrator Florian Töpper welcomed nine new trainees and students to the Landratsamt Schweinfurt. The group includes individuals training as administrative specialists and civil service candidates preparing for administrative management roles. Their training covers diverse areas such as financial administration, public safety, environmental law, and social law, combining practical experience with theoretical instruction at vocational schools.
