German Men Favor Affordable Beauty Tourism Abroad, Survey Shows
A survey commissioned by travel platform KAYAK reveals that 51 % of German men would consider undergoing cosmetic procedures abroad if it were cheaper than in Germany, while 14 % have already done so. The most common treatments mentioned include hair transplants, Botox and liposuction.
One‑third of respondents have never thought about such procedures, citing language barriers as the main obstacle; 10 % would avoid destinations where they do not speak the language and 5 % would prefer to pay higher prices at home. Turkey is identified as the most popular destination for beauty tourism. When asked about incentives, 39 % would welcome discounts on treatments, 36 % would value hotel upgrades, and another 36 % would like bonus airline miles for future travel.
