German Museums Host Major Art Event and Complete Major Renovation

The Kurpfälzisches Museum in Heidelberg partnered with GEDOK Heidelberg for a Kunstsonntag celebration on 19 July 2026. The program featured literary readings, stage performances, fashion displays by guest artist Johanna Reutter, and musical contributions, highlighting works from the Baroque to modern periods and a fashion photography exhibition by Regina Relang.

Meanwhile, the Armeemuseum in Ingolstadt opened its newly renovated Kavaliers building at the Neuen Schloss after a comprehensive restoration that began in September 2023. The €7.9 million project, completed on schedule and under budget, reinforced the structure, upgraded energy and fire‑safety systems, modernised technical installations, and improved accessibility in cooperation with the Bavarian State Office for Monument Protection.
