German Nursing Academies Graduate Over 30 New Care Professionals

At the Quirlsberg Akademie in Bergisch Gladbach, 21 newly qualified nursing professionals and nine nursing assistants received their diplomas. The ceremony highlighted that almost all graduates will continue working at the Quirlsberg health campus, receiving a €5,000 welcome bonus. Sebastian Haeger, managing director of the campus, praised the students, saying, "Die Schülerinnen und Schüler unserer Akademie bestehen ihre Prüfungen in großer Zahl und mit oft sehr guten Ergebnissen. Das ist in erster Linie ihr Verdienst."

In Waiblingen, the Maria‑Merian‑Schule celebrated the successful completion of four nursing classes, awarding certificates to newly trained elder‑care helpers, nursing professionals and leadership trainees. The event, held in the school library, featured speeches by school principal Ingrid Klumpp and education officer Andreas Grau, who emphasized the societal importance of qualified nursing staff. Musical performances by students added a personal touch to the ceremony.

Both graduations underscore the growing emphasis on comprehensive nursing education in Germany and the commitment of regional health institutions to retain new talent.
