German Psychologists Academy launches neurodiversity training series for clinicians
The Deutsche Psychologen Akademie is introducing a series of practice‑oriented seminars on neurodiversity for psychotherapists, psychologists and related professionals. The programme, running from autumn 2026 into spring 2027, focuses on adult ADHD, autism‑spectrum disorders, diagnostic methods, holistic interventions and psychopharmacology.
The opening event is the two‑day seminar “ADHD bei Erwachsenen diagnostizieren und behandeln” (4‑5 September 2026, Berlin) led by Dr. med. Lenka Staun, covering established tests such as HASE and DIVA and introducing mentalisation‑based therapy for emotional regulation. An online course “Von ADHD bis Zwangsstörung” (25‑26 September 2026) with Dr. Thomas Riemer will review medication classes and emerging approaches like psychedelics and neurostimulation. In October, M.Sc. Leon Schäfer‑Kaupp will run a day‑long seminar “Chaotisch – Genial – Erfolglos? ADHD im Erwachsenenalter” (14 October 2026) in Berlin. Further courses are planned for 2027, all available as individual bookings both on‑site and online.
