Public swimming facilities in Germany are undergoing seasonal transitions. In Heidelberg, the Tiergartenbad outdoor pool is scheduled to close after September 13, 2026. Following this, indoor facilities including Hasenleiser, City-Bad, and the sauna at Köpfel will reopen on September 14.

In Neuss, the seasonal transition has been disrupted by a technical defect at the Stadtbad on Hafenstraße. Due to this malfunction, the indoor facility remains closed indefinitely. To compensate, the Südbad outdoor pool has extended its season and will remain open daily from 8:00 to 20:00 to accommodate the public and local swim clubs.
