In the Ansbach district, facilities such as the Parkbad in Herrieden and the Freibad in Lichtenau are scheduled to close on September 13, while the Aquella in Ansbach will remain open until September 27. In the Neustadt/Aisch-Bad Windsheim district, closures are set for mid-to-late September, including Burgbernheim on September 18. Additionally, the Altstadtbad Bayreuth is facing an upcoming closure, and discussions are underway in Bremen-Nord regarding long-term planning for indoor facilities to ensure access for seniors and school children.

Meanwhile, water temperature monitoring continues at Lake Constance (Bodensee). Sensors at the Konstanz yacht harbor provide live data, noting that while surface temperatures can exceed 25 degrees Celsius, water temperatures decrease significantly with depth. The lake has not completely frozen over since 1963.
