Germany: Burglaries reported at butcher shop and bakery
Two separate burglaries were reported at local businesses in Germany. In Dietingen, thieves attempted to break into a butcher shop between Saturday afternoon and Monday morning. While they failed to breach the main door, they successfully opened a garage and stole tools, resulting in approximately 3,000 euros in damages.
In Selm, an intruder broke into a 'Berthold’s Der Naturbäcker' bakery branch near the Beifang station during the early hours of Monday morning. The perpetrator stole a cash drawer and a safe; however, the safe was empty due to the implementation of a new cash management system. The bakery interior was left damaged, and police are reviewing video surveillance which shows the suspect wearing a hoodie and a cap.
