Germany conducts international raids against Nazi music distribution
Police in Germany and several other European countries have conducted widespread searches as part of an investigation into the distribution of Nazi music. The operation involves multiple German federal states, including Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Schleswig-Holstein, Bavaria, Baden-Württemberg, Brandenburg, Lower Saxony, North Rhine-Westphalia, Saxony, and Thuringia.
Authorities are investigating four primary suspects, aged between 43 and 55, on suspicion of being members of a right-wing extremist criminal organization. The group is alleged to have worked together to distribute National Socialist, antisemitic, racist, and inhumane ideologies through the production and sale of music recordings.
In addition to the primary suspects, searches were carried out against eight other individuals in various German states and ten people in the surrounding environment of the suspects in Berlin. The investigation has also extended internationally, with searches conducted in Estonia, Italy, Poland, and the Czech Republic. No arrests have been planned as of the current report, as authorities aim to clarify the existing suspicions.
