Germany expands Business Fast Track visa process for Turkish companies
Germany and Turkey are expanding the ‘Business Fast Track’ procedure to streamline visa processes for Turkish entrepreneurs. Starting in autumn 2026, the program will be extended to include companies within the DEİK network of the German-Turkish Business Council that maintain a connection to Germany.
North Rhine-Westphalia Prime Minister Hendrik Wüst expressed support for the agreement during a recent trip to Turkey. The initiative aims to reduce bureaucratic delays that have previously hindered business travel, such as difficulty securing appointments or submitting extensive documentation on short notice.
The fast-track process is designed to provide quicker appointment scheduling and require fewer documents, potentially facilitating access to long-term business visas. While German foreign missions will retain final decision-making authority over applications, the measure is expected to improve predictability for companies involved in contract negotiations, machine sales, and industrial investments.
