Germany minimum wage and minijob limits to increase in 2027

In Germany, the statutory minimum wage is scheduled to increase to 14.60 euros gross per hour on January 1, 2027. This represents a 70-cent increase, or approximately 5.04 percent, from the previous rate of 13.90 euros.

Additionally, the monthly earnings limit for ‘minijobs’ will rise to 633 euros, up from 603 euros in 2026. This adjustment is linked to the minimum wage to ensure that approximately ten hours of work per week can still be classified as a minijob.
