Police report multiple crimes and traffic incidents in Germany

Police in Germany reported several incidents involving vehicle crimes and traffic violations. In the Leer/Emden region, authorities investigated a car break-in in Emden where a red Opel Astra's window was smashed and vehicle documents were stolen. Additionally, a physical altercation occurred between two 37-year-old men in Emden, resulting in minor injuries and criminal proceedings. A separate incident involved a 31-year-old e-scooter driver in Emden who was caught driving with a blood alcohol level of 2.19 per mille and without valid insurance.

In Bingen, a 13-year-old boy led police on a chase after riding an e-scooter through traffic in a dangerous manner. The pursuit ended at a local wine festival, where officers caught the boy on foot. Because the minimum age for operating an e-scooter is 14, the boy's father, as the vehicle owner, faces a fine of 90 euros.
