Germany to wear 1990 retro kit against Netherlands

UEFA Nations League retro kit Jürgen Klopp Germany vs Netherlands 1990 World Cup

The German national football team will wear a special throwback kit for their UEFA Nations League match against the Netherlands on September 24, 2026, at the Johan Cruijff ArenA in Amsterdam.

The German Football Association (DFB) confirmed the team will use an official remake of their iconic 1990 away jersey, featuring a green geometric zigzag chevron design. The match will also serve as the official debut for new German head coach Jürgen Klopp.

The use of the Adidas 'Bringback collection' jersey marks one of the final high-profile appearances for the brand before Nike takes over as Germany's technical supplier in 2027. On the opposing side, the Netherlands will be led by new head coach Xavi Hernández.
