Geumcheon-gu recruits residents for 12 youth public rental housing units

Geumcheon-gu, in collaboration with the Seoul Housing & Communities Corporation (SH), is recruiting residents for 12 units of customized public rental housing in Gasan-dong to support the housing stability of single-person youth households.

The available units consist of five units at ‘G Valley House,’ designed for young workers, artists, and entrepreneurs, and seven units of ‘Social Mix Youth Housing,’ a community-based model where various groups, including newlyweds, single parents, and seniors, reside together.

Eligible applicants must be unmarried youth aged 19 to 39 residing in Seoul as of August 19, who meet specific income requirements (70% or less of the average monthly income for urban workers). The rental deposits and monthly fees are set below market rates and can be adjusted based on income levels.

Successful applicants can reside in the units for up to 10 years through contract renewals. Applications must be submitted via registered mail to the Geumcheon-gu website by September 17. Final winners will be announced on December 11, with move-ins scheduled between January and March 2027.
