GFK Tikvesh seeks third consecutive win to maintain league lead

GFK Tikvesh enters the third round of the Macedonian First League as the current leader, seeking a third consecutive victory to maintain their top position. After starting the season with dominant wins over Arsimi (5-1) and Bashkimi (5-0), the Kavadarci-based team holds a goal difference of 10-1.

Tikvesh is scheduled to host Shkendija Aracinovo at the City Stadium in Kavadarci. While Shkendija Aracinovo is a newly promoted team, player Jovan Popzlatanov noted they possess a quality roster. Tikvesh has recently strengthened its squad with the addition of players Muhamed Elmas and Besar Gudzufi.

In other league action, Sileks will host Skopje in Kratovo, with Sileks entering as the favorite following a previous draw against Shkendija Aracinovo. Upcoming fixtures also include Struga against Vardar and Shkendija against Bregalnica.
