Ghana and China launch youth AI talent development program

Ghana has launched the China-Ghana Youth AI Talent Development Programme to build technical expertise among young professionals. Initiated by Ghana's Ambassador to China, Kojo Bonsu, through his GenZ AI Club, the program is a partnership with Beijing-based APUS Technology Co., Ltd. and Zhoukou Normal University.

The initiative provides scholarship opportunities for Ghanaian students to study artificial intelligence and data science in China, while students in Ghana can participate via online learning. The program aims to create a network of professionals capable of developing digital solutions for sectors such as agriculture, healthcare, education, and finance. Additionally, high-performing students may receive internships with APUS Technology Co., Ltd. to gain practical industry experience.
